LATEST TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR VACCINATED TRAVELERS

 

NASSAU, Bahamas, April 21st, 2021 – The Government of The Bahamas today announced streamlined entry protocols that will enable fully vaccinated visitors to better and more seamlessly enjoy The Bahamas vacation experience.

 

HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COVID-19 COMMUNICATION BY PRIME MINISTER MINNIS

 

  • Effective immediately the daily curfew for Mainland Abaco will be moved from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. to 10 p.m.-5 a.m.

 

 

  • Fully vaccinated travelers will be exempted from the COVID-19 test requirements currently in place when traveling from New Providence, Grand Bahama, Abaco, Exuma and Eleuthera.

 

 

  • These travelers will be exempted immediately after full vaccination.

 

 

  • Proof of full vaccination will be required.  Fully vaccinated travelers will be required to upload vaccination cards to the Bahamas Travel Health Visa website.

Effective 1st May 2021

 

  • International Travelers to The Bahamas will be exempted from a RT PCR COVID-19 test if they are fully vaccinated and have passed the two-week immunity period.

 

  • Fully vaccinated persons may also be allowed to dine indoors and attend gatherings with other fully vaccinated persons with minimal restrictions.

 

 

  • Proof of Vaccination will be required.

 

  • Fully vaccinated travelers will be required to upload vaccination cards to the Bahamas Travel Health Visa website.

 

 

  • Individuals that are not fully vaccinated will still be required to provide a negative RT PCR COVID-19 test result where testing requirements are in place. (Below travel restrictions are still in place for non-vaccinated travelers)
